STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.
Library STEAM activities and workshops bring these subjects to life through creativity, problem-solving, experimentation, and play. They offer learners of all ages a chance to explore STEAM in ways that are fun, accessible, and inclusive.
We deliver lots of STEAM sessions from regular coding clubs to one of sessions for events such as the Summer Reading Challenge and national holidays. To see what’s on visit our Library Activities page.

Code Club is a free, initiative by the Raspberry Pi Foundation, designed to help children aged 9–13 learn to code through creative projects.
At Newham Libraries, our Code Clubs run weekly during term time in six library branches, offering hands-on experience with real coding tools and technologies.
To find your nearest Code Club session visit our Library Activities page.
In-person digital skills training is just one part of the Newham Libraries Digital Inclusion offer.
